Problem Sets 2013
Problem sets are generally due Fridays by 5:30pm. Problem sets will contain an online component and a written component. Online problems are available on the 8.21 MITx site The written part should be submitted in the boxes at the ramp between buildings 8 and 16 on the third floor of building 8. Late written problem sets will be accepted at 50% credit until the following Monday at 11 a.m. The problem sets (online and written components combined) will contribute 40% towards your final grade.
Students who are registered in the class but unable to obtain an MIT certificate (i.e. do not have an MIT ID) may request an account to gain access to the course materials. If you already have an account, you can download the problem sets using the links below. Students with an MIT ID should use the certificate-based page instead.
